Welcome to the second quarterly installment of the 2010 Plen Aire Moving Pictures Series.
By some random means unknown and uninfluenced by me Tina has informed me that Robyn had the honor of selecting the candidates for this event.
Here are Robyn’s five in no particular order:
Airplane! - An airplane crew takes ill. Surely the only person capable of landing the plane is an ex-pilot afraid to fly. But don’t call him Shirley.
Clue - Six guests are invited to a strange house and must cooperate with the staff to solve a murder mystery.
Grease - Good girl Sandy and greaser Danny fell in love over the summer. But when they unexpectedly discover they’re now in the same high school, will they be able to rekindle their romance?
Sleeper -A nerdish store owner is revived out of cryostasis into a future world to fight an oppressive government.
Young Frankenstein - Dr. Frankenstein’s grandson, after years of living down the family reputation, inherits granddad’s castle and repeats the experiments.
Yes, you are right. After cutting and pasting those in I did realize that they are actually in alphabetical order. No IMdb links this week since I am late for work, and honestly if you do not know what those movies are I really don’t understand how we are friends.

The winning movie will be announced Thursday, and the winner will be shown on Saturday September 4th. We are planning to have a little cookout before the show, so if you want to partake be over around 6pm. Otherwise plan to show up around 8pm for the movie. More details will follow in the formal showing announcement.
